Introduction
argus stream gives every token on Arc a live room. Holders watch in public, sign in with their wallet to chat, and tip creators in USDC.
These docs cover everything you need as a viewer, a creator or a token launcher. Pick a path:

Get started
Why Arc
Arc is a layer-1 network where gas is paid in USDC. For a streaming platform that means two things:
- Tips keep their value. A 5 USDC tip is still worth 5 dollars when the creator receives it.
- No extra token to hold. Viewers pay fees in the same dollars they tip with.
You need a wallet that supports Arc and a small USDC balance to tip or buy store items. Watching is free and needs no wallet at all.

Watch and chat
Every room is public. Open Channels, pick a live room and the stream starts right away.
Sign in to chat
- Select Sign in in the top right corner.
- Choose your wallet and approve the connection.
- Sign the message. It proves you own the address. No transaction is sent and no gas is spent.

Tips
Tips are paid in USDC and split on-chain the moment they land. Nobody holds the funds in between.

Tips show up as an alert on stream and in chat. The minimum tip is 1 USDC.

Profile styles
The Store sells avatar frames and name colors. Try any style on your own chat message before you buy.
- Styles are tied to your wallet and follow you into every room.
- Every sale buys back and burns $ARGUS.
- You can switch between the styles you own at any time.
Creators
Open a channel
Anyone can open a channel. It's free and you don't need a token.
- Go to Go live and sign in with your wallet.
- Add a channel image, a name and a short description.
- Create the channel. You sign a message; nothing is sent on-chain.
- Open Studio and start streaming.
Linking a token laterLaunch or link a token whenever you want. The wallet that deployed the token must be the channel owner.
Creators
Stream with OBS
Studio lets you go live from the browser with your camera. For overlays, scenes or a better mic setup, use OBS or any RTMP software.
- In Studio, open Stream settings and copy the server URL and your stream key.
- In OBS, go to Settings → Stream, choose Custom and paste both values.
- Start streaming in OBS. Your room goes live within a few seconds.

Keep your key privateYour stream key rotates every session. Anyone with the current key can stream to your room, so never show it on screen.

Moderation
You and the moderators you add have the same tools in every stream:
- Remove a message or time out a wallet for 1 minute to 24 hours.
- Ban a wallet from your room.
- Slow mode limits how often each wallet can post.
- Holders-only chat lets only wallets holding your token talk.
- Word filters hide messages that contain terms you choose.
Creators
Clips
Viewers can save the last 30 seconds of a live stream as a clip. Clips appear on your channel page and can be shared anywhere with a link. You can delete any clip from your room.
Tokens
Launch a token
Launch a token on Arc from the Launch token page. Its live room is created at the same time, and the launch wallet becomes the verified host.
- Upload a logo, then pick a name and a ticker. These can't be changed later.
- Add a description and an optional website.
- Choose an optional first buy in USDC.
- Confirm the transaction in your wallet. Gas is paid in USDC.
Fixed supplyTokens launched here have a fixed supply and no mint function.

Creator verification
Only the wallet that deployed a token can open that token's room. When you link a token, argus stream checks your signature against the deployer address recorded on-chain.
This keeps impersonators out: nobody else can stream under your ticker.

Does watching cost anything?+
No. Streams are public and need no wallet.
Can I stream without a token?+
Yes. Channels are free, and you can link a token whenever you want.
Why do I sign a message to chat?+
The signature proves you own your wallet, so every name in chat is real. It sends no transaction and costs nothing.
Which wallets work?+
Any browser wallet that supports custom networks, such as MetaMask, Rabby or Coinbase Wallet. When you connect, argus stream offers to add Arc to your wallet automatically.
